Chief Warrant Officer of the Canadian Forces College
Chief Warrant Officer Pascal St-Gelais began his career in the Primary Reserve as a Vehicle Technician in 2000. In October 2002, he transitioned to the Regular Forces, joining the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (RCCS) as a Land Communication and Information Systems Technician.
Throughout his career, CWO St-Gelais has taken on various leadership roles, rising from Corporal to Chief Warrant Officer, and serving at the tactical level. He further honed his expertise while instructing at the Canadian Forces School of Communication and Electronics in Kingston, Ontario.
CWO St-Gelais has participated in numerous operational deployments and training exercises across Canada and internationally. Notably, he served in Bosnia-Herzegovina during Operation PALLADIUM, in Afghanistan during Operation ATHENA, and in multinational exercises in Europe and the United States.
Promoted to his current rank in July 2021, CWO St-Gelais served as the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of the Headquarters & Signal Squadron, 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group, until May 2024. He now holds the position of Canadian Forces College Chief Warrant Officer.
CWO St-Gelais values spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys sports fishing, running, and weightlifting.
