Canadian Security Studies Programme

The Canadian Security Studies Programme (CSSP) is conducted annually for selected senior military and civilian members of the Canadian Armed Forces and Department of National Defence, members of other federal and provincial government departments, members of police forces and emergency services, and international military officers. The aim of the Programme is to improve participants’ ability to identify, analyze, and understand the national security issues facing Canada.

Combining experts and thought leaders from around the world, the programme is comprised of a series of lectures, panels, and seminar discussions covering a variety of domestic, international, and borderless defence and security related topics. Throughout the programme, participants will be asked to consider what they believe to be the biggest national security challenge confronting Canada. On the final day of the programme, participants will be asked to present a substantiated response to this question.

Serial 23 of the CSSP is cancelled.
