Major Scott Graham, CD
Major Scott Graham has served in the Canadian Armed Forces over the past twenty years as a primary reserve artillery officer. Major Graham completed the requisite artillery courses, Army Operations Course and is currently enrolled in the Joint Command and Staff Programme at the Canadian Forces College, where, he is appointed as the A/Director, Future Programmes.
In addition, to serving in senior artillery advisor roles in 32 CBG and 4 Cdn Div as Battery Commander, and Senior Fires Advisor to the Commanding General, Major Graham also assisted in planning and participating in several emergency response exercises throughout Ontario. In 2018, Major Graham deployed as a Domestic Response Unit Company Commander on OP LENTUS to provide flood relief in Bracebridge and Ottawa. Thereafter, in 2019, Major Graham deployed as DCO to the OP LASER Taskforce supporting the Government of Ontario’s request to assist long-term care homes afflicted by COVID-19.
Major Graham deployed on Operation IMPACT in 2015/2016 to contribute to the coalition mission Operation INHERENT RESOLVE to defeat ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Major Graham served as a lethal targeting officer, and reflecting on his deployment experience, published in the Journal of International Criminal Law.
As a civilian, Major Graham spent the bulk of his legal career as a gun and drug prosecutor in downtown Toronto.
